Daringbadi, dubbed as the ‘Kashmir of Orissa’, is a pretty hill station situated about 100 km from Phulbani and 50 km from Baliguda in  Kandhamal District, Orissa. Situated at an altitude of 3000 ft above sea level, the place is gifted with natural bounties including pine jungles, coffee gardens and beautiful valleys.

Daringbadi is the only place in Orissa which experiences snow fall during winter. Set in a beautiful spot surrounded by thick rainforests with wild animals, it is an ideal summer resort.

But Daringbadi has no real tourist infrastructure and moreover all foreign tourists are stuck in Puri, thus, missing the beautiful valleys and natural elegance of this place.
